As I was eating a very affordable and tasty meal in Govinda, a cyclist came in with his folding bike. He also had a darbouka (goblet drum) for chanting and dancing happy Hare Krishna songs. He seemed to be a regular customer (after all, it is a Hare Krishna venue). Thumb up for yet another business supporting cycling in Dublin :)

I took the picture on 20 April 2013 in Govinda, Abbey Street.

Small wheel, big will

Folding bikes come in handy. They're so tiny so they can be stored virtually anywhere. On the other hand, when in use, they look rather silly, more of a circus bicycle than a serious mean of transportation.

Nonetheless, in Dublin's Cyclists we love all cyclists and welcome everyone on board. Especially cyclists like the one above who was amongst the very few cyclist who stop on red light behind the designated road marks. Well done!

Folding bike, not folding suits

Some cyclists purchase a pricy cycling gear, whereas others don't really mind wearing their suit while pedalling.

I came across these two cyclists on a sunny day on 22 April 2009, just off O'Connell Bridge. I can't really put my finger on why I pulled my mobile out of my pocket and took this picture. I guess I just found them interesting.
