The Royal French Cyclist
France has been a republic for a long time, yet, they still keep the beautiful royal complex of Château de Versailles. Hiring a bike is an excellent attraction in Vaersailles, as it allows the visitors to explore the magnificent gardens and the surrounding palaces and grand mansions, used by the French nobility in past.
I shot this photo on 9 August 2009 near the Grand Trianon, which accommodated notable figures such as King Louis XIV (the real one, not the one from Monty Python) and Napoleon Bonaparte.
